En route to your customers, your products are already exposed to mechanical stresses such as vibrations and shock when trucks drive on rough roads, during shunting operations or when handled roughly on delivery.
In a host of products, however, mechanical stresses are par for the course during normal operation, e.g. in all kinds of vehicles and airplanes or all types of portable equipment.

TÜV SÜD SENTON offers customized mechanical testing to simulate the expected mechanical stresses already before your products are placed on the market.

This approach can help to prevent costly redesign or additional design and development efforts and to ultimately save time and costs.

Electrodynamic shaker with slip table

Our electrodynamic shaker permits mechanical testing with sine, random noise and shock forces. Special advantage: The shaker's slip table permits test items to be put through their paces in their standard
operating position – a very sensible feature as an increasing number of standards require products to be tested in their correct position.

If required, a climatic chamber can be integrated with our electrodynamic shaker to combine mechanical testing regarding vibration, shock or random noise with temperature and humidity testing.
